Music program
Each child is encouraged
to use their God-given abilities in music through regular classroom
music, choir, operettas, Christmas programs, chapel or during morning
devotions. Students are taught music theory, appreciation, and history.
Music is a part of each teacher's weekly instruction.
Arts program
Each child is encouraged
to begin at his or her level of artistic developement and grow from
that point. Students are encouraged to assist each other in improving
their artistic style or technique. Art activities are often included
as a part of the instruction in other subject areas. Each classroom
teacher teaches Art one period a week.
Band
St. Paul has an
excellent band program for students in the fourth through eighth grade.
Emphasis is placed on correct fundamentals so that each child can progress
technically and musically in their chosen instrument.
Choir
St. Paul offers
a choir program for students in grades 3-5 and 6-8. This program will
operate before or after school hours. Information will be provided at
the beginning of the school year for grade 3-8 parents and students.
