What should I expect if I visit?

We would be thrilled for you to visit us at St. Paul. We are known for our hospitality and we be honored by your presence. We refer to people who visit us as guests because "guest" means we expect you and we want you to be here. There are many ways we open our doors to guests. Worship is always a place where people not only see us, but see God as well, for His Holy Spirit is very active in our midst.

The St. Paul congregation gathers for worship in our “Worship Center” (also known as our school gymnasium.) Parking for our 1st time guests and those with mobility impairments are encouraged to park on our lower level parking lot. We offer two different styles of worship on Sunday morning.

Our traditional worship (at 8:15am) is a liturgical format, following the different orders of service from “Lutheran Worship.” The music for traditional worship includes classic hymns along with new songs and hymns of the faith.

Our “contemporary” worship service (at 10:45am), follows a “blended/contemporary” style format. Music is led by the St. Paul Lutheran worship team and consists of songs from contemporary Christian artists.

Children are welcome to participate in our worship services and a special “Children’s Message” is offered at each service. A staffed nursery is provided during services for children up to age four, but many families prefer to worship with their children. We support which ever decision you make as a parent.

Typical church attire spans the clothing spectrum from suits and dresses, to business casual. Please know, however, that we are more concerned that you are joining with us in worship, rather than your style of dress.

Communion is observed during the 8:15am service every 1st and 3rd Sunday.

Communion is offered at the 10:45am service every 2nd and 4th Sunday.

For information on our communion practice, please see our Communion Statement.
