A Christ-Centered High School Launching in Peachtree City, Georgia

Thirty years ago, St. Paul was founded as a church and school in Peachtree City. From the very beginning, St. Paul Lutheran School has offered a challenging education in a nurturing, Christ-centered environment where students are known, encouraged, and equipped to succeed. Now, St. Paul is looking forward to preparing high school students for a college, career, and a life of faith. With advanced classes, leadership training and individualized education students will be able to exit high school with college credits. As young adults prepare for careers, they will dig into God’s Word to discover their God-given purpose.

St. Paul is accredited through the Georgia Accrediting Commission and National Lutheran School Accreditation

An accredited high school creates a path for students to access the Hope Scholarships. In-state tuition could be covered for St. Paul students who demonstrate academic achievement. When students are mentored by excellent teachers and supported at home, they will achieve to their highest potential.

High school students may apply for admission beginning in October, 2026.

In partnership with families, St. Paul Lutheran School’s mission is to develop the whole child as a Christian leader by providing a Christ-centered, academically challenging education in a safe and nurturing environment. This mission extends to high school as young adults need to understand who they are created to be. During high school, students make plans for careers, college, relationships and family. As they make these choices, they are led by caring, Christian teachers who are powerful role models for our students. At St. Paul, high school will be about more than earning a diploma. Students will be encouraged to discover who God created them to be, recognize their unique strengths and talents, and begin pursuing their God-given purpose.

College Ready / College Credits / Career Plan

The challenging curriculum offers students the opportunity to reach past high school limits into college content. Dual enrollment, AP courses and online college classes will put them ahead going into a university with some credits out of the way. St. Paul students will go beyond “college ready” with some progress already made toward their degree.

One of the most important decisions made in high school is choosing a career path. We believe that students will discover their purpose by looking into God’s Word, seeking wise counsel, and taking inventory of personal strengths and talents. Choosing a career path is best done in alignment with a Biblical Worldview. Quality teachers guide students along the path of finding a God-given purpose.

Timeline

Summer, 2025 – St. Paul feasibility committee researched area schools, community demographics, surveys, etc.

Fall, 2025 – Steering committee investigates specifics of location, budgets, staffing, and other requirements. Information gathering meetings were held with current school parents and congregation members.

Winter, 2026 – Plans are formed after much consideration of multiple options. Proposals are brought to St. Paul Board of Directors.

Spring, 2026 – High school ministry expansion is presented to the congregation and approved to begin in August, 2027.

Summer, 2026 – Marketing campaign, staffing plan, and curriculum planning begins for the 2027-2028 school year.

Looking Forward

October, 2026 – Enrollment opens for the high school grades for the 2027-2028 school year.
