Preparing & Equipping Students for What Comes Next
Middle School for 6th to 8th Grade
Our middle school students continue building core skills and new study habits necessary for the rigorous academic work of high school. The program is characterized by a blocked schedule that includes core classes of English, Science and History on Monday, Wednesday and Friday in a departmentalized structure, providing instructors who are teaching in their areas of expertise.
At the same time, we recognize the unique needs of rapidly developing adolescents and offer a rich variety of academic and practical learning opportunities. As their spiritual capacity grows too, we teach all subjects from a Christian perspective and encourage students to seek answers while making ethical decisions.
Electives
Our middle school students also are given an opportunity to pick which electives they would like to take and participate in. They are given options such as: Current Events, Spanish, Band, Technology and more. We believe that students should be allowed to learn in areas of interest and that is what we do here at St. Paul.
